Tension seemed to be growing between Tash and Veronica and Seth wanted to kick himself in the ass for saying anything that might have helped add fuel to the fire. Veronica was now almost burning hotter then the actual fire that burned not to gar from where he sat. Rubbing his head as not knowing what to say as she basically told Tash she was done with their friendship. He didn't know what to say for a moment and he looked over at Catcher roasting his marshmallow to see if maybe he could be the voice of reason and find a way to calm the she-wolves down. Seth had developed a new way about him over the past few years almost becoming the voice of reason for the pack in general but he never liked picking sides he rather stayed as close neutral as possible. When Catcher moved away from the fire Seth could see he wasn't enjoying the situation either it was now his job to extinguish some of the heat coming off all of them.
She was right though Natasha could have reached out but if they would have talked about how broken their hearts were it wouldn't have helped either girl heal. "You both didn't call each other, but I didn't reach out much to you or Catcher either. If any it is more my fault I'm like the glue that should have held us all together. I wasn't up for the job either." Seth was trying to cool things down between them by taking some of the blame. He thought he tried to refocus their attention on him and off of each other. He walked over to Tash and put a hand on her shoulder. trying to see if she was going to return shots in Veronica's direction." There's no reason to throw a whole friendship away. she stayed, you went V. You both are two cars on the same path you just took different turns." He didn't want to make either of the girls feel less acknowledged then the other doing the best he can to hold the crumbling bonds together. Seth got up and chucked another log into the fame watching it quickly catch in fire. "I'm sorry you had to go through what you did alone V. I could have told you he was bad news. Anyone who postpones death like that man must have the biggest amounts of baggage."
He thought mentioning a fish would actually be something V could have that she could show a little love to, if you don't take proper care of it the fish would go belly up. If she could care for something small and slimy then maybe she could care about herself more also. He didn't think she flipped the whole thing on him to have to worry about the safety of his dick being bit by a piranha. Sure he was the reason for the barbecue but he didn't mind the girls being there or he didn't mind before the moods changed. "Catcher is right. You didn't crash anything we wanted to smile and laugh the night away can't we all get back to that. But know if you never stick a fish down my pants I'll track down that wet hunk and tell him where you live." He chuckled hoping the mood would be lighter now.
When Catcher made light with the sharp toothed fish making its way into someone else's pants he nodded. "She should feed the thing till it grows into a monster and then decide whose pants it goes down. Cause more damage that way." Seth made a funny face and covered his manhood area with both hands. He could already feel tension dropping a bit. In the end it was all up to Tash to blow off V's words like they didn't matter but Seth wasn't fully convinced yet. "Boozy ice cream seems like the best way to cool the fire in all of our bellies." Seth went over to the cooler and pulled out the ice cream, the ice had been doing its job it was still pretty firm. He tossed the container over to Catcher and grabbed four bowls. "Does everyone want some?"
