Things have changed ever since the day at the beach. Be fore her heart stopped she was broken stuck in place where she felt she was shattered. It didn’t matter how many times she try to get out her lost state she could pull herself out. Tash was once love and was loved in returned, then fate had stole it all away. She just wanted to he free from the connection that tied her to Quil and now she was.
After she jumped is was as Tash walked though hell and made it to the other side. She had jumped off the cliff and with jumping she had ended a life which she thought she would be stuck in forever. She for so long stuck hanging on that determined little string she had to let go and she did. When her eyes open, so did she. It was as her world was full of colour again, full of life and emotions. She was no longer the same little girl waiting on a prayer, she was stronger all because of young man who lit her fire. He was her moon, her hero.
Natasha stirred in bed as her alarm buzzed walking her up for the day. Moving quickly to turn it off before the sound became to irritating to ignore she climbed out of bed and turned it off. She could feel the chill of the wood floors beneath her feet as the coolness help her into a state of awareness. Her brown hair fell around her like a veil falling into place with no effort, pushing the locks out of her face she grabbed a towel a walked to the bathroom ready to start her daily routine. Today wouldn’t be the same she was no longer delicate.
She stood in front of the mirror and examined every part of herself. Tash splashed a bit of water on her face allowing her eyes to wake up. She looked into her brown eyes a new spark had been lit with them She let her fingers run through her hair twirling around the ends. Tash hadn’t cut it in years, she didn’t want to change it before because someone once told her she was beautiful the way she was. None of the mattered to her anymore. He didn’t matter to her, he had someone new and it took her heart stopping to realize this. Her new found freedom made her feel that every part of her had changed in side and out. She no longer need to live for someone else, she could now just live for herself.
She tied her hair into two pony tails brining the elastics up past her shoulders securing them in place. Taking a deep breath she pulled the scissor out of the medicine cabinet, letting him spin around her fingers for a few seconds before she started cutting. Strand by strand the scissors made it way threw her hair until it fell to the floor in a bundle.
Finished with the one side she moved over to the other taking the same amount of care to make sure is was even, it too fell to the floor destined to be discarded. She bent down and picked up the tow piles throwing them into the trash can without any regret for what she had just done.
She got undressed and wrapped herself in a towel. Placing a pair of rubber gloves on her hands she grabbed bottle of bleach she had purchased the night before. Mixing the component together she began coating her locks with the pungent smelly solution. The smell was very strong filled the tiny bathroom quickly it was almost burning her eyes. Walking over to the window she open it to allow in the much need fresh air, allowing it to fill her lungs pushing put all. The fumes with every breath. The bleach would take sometime to process so when Tash was all done she wrapped her head in a shower cap and returned to her room to wait out the remaining of the time.
She took a seat on her bed, she pulled the purple comforter back some could grab something from underneath the wooden frame. She out a box of memories for over the time she had spend in La Push.Things that many may not seem important but she always kept them close. They were like little treasures that I've had given her leaving marks on her heart.
Pictures of old time, movie tickets , small little notes and little gifts she had received. She began pulling out everything that reminded of her old boyfriend and chucked it all in the trash can beside her bed. Sure maybe at some point she have to see him again but the past would no longer have a hold on her. When her imprint broke with her last breath before dying it made her snap back to her own reality where she didn’t have to put someone else first. Catcher made her realize this and he was the one who brought her back to the land of the living, pounding on her chest until she breathed again.
Finding a picture of the coolest boy she ever met, she placed it on her bed side table. He was standing there beside Seth wearing his leather jacket and his jeans. His style didn’t change over his absence. The only difference the boy in this photo had grown up a bit since then. Tucked under the picture of the boys was one of her and Veronica. She placed that beside the other. Just like old times they were tougher again.
The clock finally reached the time for her to wash out all the beach from what had remained of her locks. He ran to the bathroom quickly to rise it all out. She turned the knob on the shower to a soothing temperature before climbing in. Once the bleach was all rinsed out and her hair was conditioned, she hoped out and looked at herself in the mirror. She could in she her true self, the white wolf she often tried to hide. Slipping back to her bedroom she put on a tiny back dress, with her combat boots and left the house.
Today she would be riding in style, she went to the garage and grabbed the keys to one of Jake’s motorcycles. She grabbed her helmet and hit the road. She was just going to take a ride. She was taught how to ride one but was always to scared to go out on her own. She wasn’t scared of anything anymore.
The engine came to life and she kicked off taking off down the road.

She sat at the edge of the creek, cross legged listening to it babble as it traveled past the stones towards it next destination. The sky was overcast but the chance of rain didn’t disturb her. Her eyes were closed as she meditated thanking the earth goddess for that she had in life. She had been on the go so often lately Feather hadn’t taken the time just to sit with her thoughts appropriately reflect.
Today she had some moments for herself so instead of taking a trip to the city she came to the national park instead.
She had always been a little different, a bit to out there for much a big personality is a tiny kick ass body. The wind caressed her face as she thought about the earth giving her strength power to travel though this life time. People had always found Feather a little strange she was a free spirit. One who loved nature and it healing powers but also loved the dark and macabre. She was never a set being she always changing, just how she could change from being a human to creature in a blink of an eye.
Feather was a shapeshifter and no the typical type you would find in this area. When she change her fur was sandy in colour allowing her to blend in easy with nature. She became long and agile with claws made for ripping and tearing. Her teeth were sharp and knives and her scream could make anyone’s blood chill. When she phase she became a cougar. For years Feather never knew why happened , not sure if it was because the little native blood being passed down through her blood line or some curse someone laid on her and her twin.Beside Cloud she had never met anyone like herself. He too was a shapeshifter a bit larger then her but just as fierce.
It took her a while and some research but she had learned that they phased because of something in the area where they were living that shouldn’t exist in the natural world. It was because of information she had found of the Quileute tribe legends. She had learned about the cold ones and that they shapeshifted into wolves she assumed that was why she and Cloud had changed a few years back into cougars had something similar.
Ever since then she had wanted to see out someone form the tribe but between her appearance and not knowing who to speak to Feather just left things alone. If fate and goddess allowed she meet someone soon who she would feel a connection, life always had a way of providing.
The sound of silence was soon broken by the rumbling of a engine. She open her eyes turning her head towards the direction of the noise thinking it may have been her brother coming to retrieve her from her seclusion. She had asked him to pick her up in a while but it was too soon.
Instead it was a woman ripping down the road on a sleek black motorcycle. She watched as the woman started to slow down and parked her iron horse on the side of the road. When she removed her helmet a familiar but strange odor hit Feather. It was somewhat canine in nature and was all over the girl.
Raising to her feet, Feather waved in her direction, hoping she would be intimated by the appearance. Feather had found may people wee often unsure of he because of the tattoos that cover almost every part of her body. She collected tattoos like memories. She hoped the woman would walk over but she wasn’t holding her breath.

She had made her way to Forks ending up in the national park. Tash had never been there before all these years living in LA Push and its natural beauty she never had given the park any though till now. She had spend enough of her time around the forest around home patrolling . She wanted to explore and do something different for once and do it alone. So much of her last few year had felt like she was overprotected and treated like fragile creature. She had been broken so her understood where her family was coming from, it was no ones fault. She just couldn’t break past clouds to see the sunshine. She had now she let go of all of the anger and sadness and was now truly felt she was she was suppose to be. She was Natasha a shape shifter, a she-wolf she was only wolf daughter of the chief. She was strong wouldn’t let anyone stand in her way anymore.
Zooming by the trees she took in the beauty of the scenery. Trees towers like green skyscrapers in every direction. Obscuring vision of anything behind them eventually they thinned and openings begin to appear soon she could seen a creek between then trees on her left. She had been driving for miles and maybe this would be a nice place just to take a break and explore the area it was very secluded. It had crossed her mind that maybe out here she might run into a vampire as it was land that was not part of the treaty. Here in the national park they could come and go as they pleased. It didn’t deter her for taking in the natural beauty of this place.
Parking Jake’s bike on the side dirt road. She placed her foot down tiny pebble shifting below her feet as she kicked out the stand and turned off the engine she got off the bike, pulled off her helmet ta placed it on the seat. Shaking out he hair so that her helmet head didn’t stick up in weird directions. It was then she noticed someone waving from the distance.
This woman and silver hair tied back in a messy braid, she was dresses as though she he had been a member of some punk band. Torn knee length jeans with tattoos covering the over half of her legs. He top half was similar tattoos cover both her arms all the way up to her cut off tank top. Peaks of art could be seen across her mid section also.it was none of this that intrigued Tash. It was the smell that this girl was giving off. A breeze pushed past her face and all she could smell was a very unconventional shape shifter scent. One that had the odor of feline behind it.
Slowly approaching Natasha walked across the uneven stone she was quiet curious. She had never been told about other types of people who could change into any other sort if creatures. She studied the person in front of her, she looked nothing like the people she would usually see around this area she was to unconventional.
She waves back in this strangers direction smiling as she approached “Hey, enjoying yourself out here?”

If he waited he was going to be late to come get her. Cloud had never been to the park in Forks before, only visiting the town for gig rotations or tattoo work; he wasn’t too bothered about being in one place for good. It made sense he always had his family with him; his twin, Feather, and that was enough for a fulfilling life. They weren’t from these parts and it was abundantly clear from the way he looked, dressed and behaved but overall, the atmosphere and nature here really helped him get his sister off his back; It really helped her be free yet stable.
Late nights, hazy lights, and loud events took a toll on him and he perpetually looked a mess unless she made him snap out of it. For the most part, they had a similar attitude with the world; they knew they were judged but they had to rise above it and be who they wanted to be. He didn’t really care at all about people and the small town mentality just reaffirmed that more; he only came around to do his job and he was good at it. Mostly, Feather got all the attention though and he just smoked blunts, watching her handle herself never really having to step in for anything.
Cloud could always feel the air was different here than in the desert; clean and crisp, a little too fresh, a little too awakening like constant cold showers. He didn’t wear enough for this yet couldn’t feel much from the ganja high he was trying to pass off as just being tired, the marijuana aroma radiating from him.
There were noises everywhere; birds, running water, people, children and motors. He just tried to avoid everyone, and they did everything they could to avoid him, making his way through the park to find a very striking person; as soon as he did, he was out of there. It was nothing against the place, or enjoying some leisure time; he had just received a text and he really needed to work on some inspiration to get some good designs going but he could also just get a rain check or make a different plan. There was never enough time to sketch something artistic and it took a lot out of him; he needed to bounce ideas with someone and he’d found that someone recently. That someone had come in with a group of friends, all drunk, fucked up but he struck him as an artistic maverick and since then they’d occasionally talked for more work and more fun.
Reaching into his back pocket, he held out a box of cigarettes and lit one skinny stick, snapping the lighter a few times to get a light. The wind was making the shitty disposable lighters run out fast here, and he thought about just tossing them out to get something cool and more permanent. He was looking down as he continued to stride, protecting the flame with both hands as he inhaled the nicotine that indulged his habit. When the drag ended, he bit onto the smoke in the corner of his mouth and let the white fog leave his lips, blocking his vision as he looked up into nowhere. He spoke aimlessly, voice low and lazy drawl, not really trying to even get through to anyone; talking to his sister who had been standing up waving.
”Hey, I gotta go somewhere after… so where’d you want me to drop you…” Thinking she’d seen him or was just saying goodbye to someone else, he just started talking to her as if they were at home until he realized the other person she was engaging with was still present. She was making her way towards them and Feather had her back turned to him; he should’ve seen this as he was towering above both women even from a distance but his untrimmed hair was straggly in his eyes and it made no difference if he noticed the blonde girl or not. He didn’t recognize her at all and he could barely smell her, euphoric on tobacco, senses blocked by the stimulant.
Pinching on his burning cigarette, he removed it from his mouth and just stopped before he reached Feather, sitting down onto the bench that was a few feet from her with an exhausted sigh; he didn’t want to interrupt, and was too out of it to say anything more as he leaned into the seat and spread out, ready to just lay there until she got done with whatever she was doing, a steady trail of smoke snaking from between his fingers. He was used to her always in a spiritual dream and this time he was glad she met someone that wasn't just another band tagging, druggie dude he knew.

As the young woman approached Feather examined her face. Her hair was a cropped off just around her chin line, and had recently been bleach as she could pick up the smell to it slightly mixed with the floral conditioner she had used to help return the softness. The newcomer seemed to be dressed as she was for the weather, she probably ran warm as well so if the sky was to open and let the rain fall it its probably won’t bug her at all. Walking a bit closer Feather smiled softly. She let her fingers anxiously play with the chain holding a deep purple amethyst crystal around her neck.
Her ice blue eyes met the strangers, she got a vibe from he rather she had been though at in a short life. Almost as her eyes had seem more then what a mundane human would have. There was something about this person that made then similar she could feel in down interest crore it actually was giving her chills. This girl a good ally or she could attest help her learn more about what she was.
“It's actually quiet peaceful out here, but you probably know that you look local.” Feather hope she didn’t take any offense to being called a local, the girl had no baggage with her not even a backpack. Feather's eyes fell into the girl's shoulder a wolf tattoo was inked into her skin. It was actually very masculine, something she sort of felt bad for a beautiful woman to wear. “I like your ink, does it symbolize anything? It’s nice to meet you BTW. I’m Feather.” Her voice was a bit higher then normal as she spoke trying to sound more friendly than normal She had barely started talking when she could hear her brother approach from behind. He probably didn’t even notice that this visitor was more like them then anyone they had ever came across before. It must have been his stupid cigarettes.
Feather tuned around and looked a Cloud for a quick second kicking a rock over at him trying to get him to pay more attention. “ Well we can get going soon then.” She then shot him a look that what she was doing at the moment was more important then his thing. To Feather it was, Cloud might not give a shit but Feather always was searching of answers. She had her brother but for her there little quirk always me them different from every person they have met.
“That guy over there is Cloud, my brother.” She wanted to come out and ask if this girl was a shape shifter but she couldn’t yet. It not something you ask the moment you met someone because of their smell. How weird would she sound if she was wrong.

She really didn’t want much attention today but she couldn’t escape the pull she had to this odd meeting. It was strange how often her nose would lead her into situations where someone was different then her standing there ready to converse with a totally stranger just out of curiosity. When the girl answer she told Tash she looked local. She felts though she had a giant stamp saying she was too plain. She had though she looked a bit more colorful then those in Forks.
This girl certainly was. Was it written in a book somewhere that female shapes shifters were more beautiful then most? Her eyes were so blue and she looked flawless, ever tattoo looked perfectly placed adding to a seductive sort of beautify. Her fingers were also adorned with rings with crystal gemstones.
“Umm.. I am sort of, home is the next town over. The reserve actually.” She wonder where she might have been from, her cat like scent being picked up now but the wind. Unless there was more then one around. It started sparking a flame of interest. She was almost so distracted by her thought she barley heard the girl speak again talking about here tattoo. When she first go it the meaning behind it was more precious, the whole pack had the same tattoo plaster on them. Something not as big and noticeable would have been her choice but she couldn’t choose.
“Oh this its a family thing, my pac..some of my friends have it too. It’s a Quillute thing.” Natasha had just learned this girls name it was Feather. It was a suiting name for someone who seemed so different. As they spoke a aloof looking man came up from behind and sat down, the smoke he exhaled cover up some of his scent but he must have been the reason.
Tash had had quickly learned this man name also he was Cloud. He took had a look about him that made her feel like they were from some distance way, a less conservative place. There was something very attractive about him also, he just seemed more detached then Feather.
Tash could tell by her body language that there was something she wanted to say or ask but she seemed to be holding things In. For someone who seemed so expressive physically she seemed to be stuck speaking up. Natasha never wanted to hold anything back like Feather seemed to be ever again. There is no need to make things awkward Instead of letting Feather stir shed come out and say it. “ Dont worry you can go but I have a question for you where are you two from because you are some of the weirdest shifters I have ever smelt.”

He sat up a little, still hunched over but with a hand holding onto the bench as he rotated to face them at a side glance. The slow burning fag between his fingers was shortening in his grip as he took another puff and tapped the end, ashes falling onto the pavement while he looked between the girl and Feather. Though he said nothing as Feather began her conversation, he thought about how for once she wanted him to put her interests first; now that she seemed like she was making a friend, he eased up and casually blew a breath of smoke in a steady stream.
”Hi…”It was a short greeting, monotone with a hint of amusement; he nodded upward at the girl since they were now acquainted and stuck the cigarette back in his mouth, holding onto it with his teeth as he reached around for his phone. He brought it up in his palm as he half-heartedly waved at both people in response to Feather’s introduction. It was assumed this one was for the books. Cloud knew Feather didn’t make friends easily, covered all the way up her neck with ink and being disinterested in other female stuff; she wasn’t one of the girls. This was slightly entertaining as a result and he did want to know what could come of it even if he didn’t play much of a part; it was her interaction that mattered.
Listening, he glimpsed the wolf tattoo on the girl’s shoulder and discreetly looked down to the ground. He knew there was a place in town that did this design; there were also a few guys who had the same one. They never asked questions about it but they did wonder. Now he just thought they were some gang and he breathed deeply, a weird feeling like he remembered something starting to bother him. A short while ago, he’d seen it on a girl before, of similar build but long haired, brunette yet rainbow. Very uptight, trying to let loose, she didn’t get anything done, but her friends did; one of whom was the guy he was familiar with. Too stoned to keep thinking back, he almost laughed to himself that maybe this was an evil twin of that girl and swapped hands to hold his smoke not digging into the Quileute word.
His thumb began typing on the touch screen, padding lightly and quickly on the surface as he messaged simply what he was doing. The surface smudged with fingerprints, as he explained to the anonymous person that his sister was still busy. The replies came quicker with high volume vibrations when he mentioned some girl had shown up and that Feather was getting to know her. He described her briefly, surprised yet expectant of the answers. One last notification came and he smirked, letting out a raspy chuckle staring at the screen to reread an inside joke before clicking the lock screen on and shoving the cell in his pocket. He was done for now, eyes strained with a pink hue, feeling the calming sensations drown out any anxieties that haunted him. Feather would be so mad at him if she knew what they were saying but she was on the cusp of sisterhood.
”Nah, just keep talking…” Bluntly, he gave Feather a very delayed answer. They wouldn’t have to go anywhere if she didn’t want to; he didn’t live for that stress anyway. ”I told him.” He added, as if she had any idea what he was talking about or who; he knew she would get irritated by all the phone noises since he kept it loud on purpose. This was just another day he was narcotized; everything he had was loud for that reason, he couldn’t hear an emergency if he was comatose on a couch somewhere. It would annoy her every day of their lives but that was why he was her dear obstructive brother.
”You’re good.” That was for the short haired girl, and he leaned back into the chair, about to cross his legs and get comfortable; his surroundings becoming a little psychedelic thanks to the magic shrooms. He thought he’d heard wrong but he wasn’t that stupefied. She said they were shifters; she knew. Cloud’s face scrunched up, slowly glancing at the girl as if she gave him a reason to be defensive. No, they were not good, if she was something else territorial. Shit, most beings didn’t mesh well with wild cats and he didn’t really know if there were any others like them. They were loners. Nomadic and primal energy… It clicked with her tattoo, she was some pack animal and he tensed.
”And what are you?” Easier than asking Feather what this girl smelled like and revealing that he couldn’t smell worth a damn, he threw it out there. There were exceptions even between species, he knew a lupine who was exactly that but guy was a renegade and he couldn’t trust this girl’s family values. He knew that well because Feather was all he had; he would take a bullet for her. His head tilted back in disbelief, a little arrogance and wariness showing; apprehension rising as he sucked the cigarette hard enough the embers flamed red to the butt end. ”This area… yours?” To him, no area belonged to anyone, but he wanted her to make it clear before more of her kind appeared; before he and Feather had to make a move.

She rolled her eyes, acting a little annoyed she had Feather questions and Cloud jumped in without a proper response. She had been dealing with this for the past few years. Boys talking for her and thinking they knew what was best. “ How but you just shut you hole and let us Ladies talk.” He was hot, she found something about him still intriguing even though she told him to piss off. She let her eyes study him for a moment sure she had see him somewhere before.
Tash knew how life was for girls with protective brothers or guy friends in general. Her bothers sometimes would even let her leave the house let alone go off on her own somewhere. She was over all of that she was strong enough to take care of herself and so was Feather from the looks of it, girls need to be independent too.
“I sorry, if I passed of the cat?”she smirked speakig in a questioning tone and flipped Cloud the finger. Natasha was just guessing that this point as she focused back on Feather, Cloud looked half the bag anyway. Tash was surprised he was driving, but she had done so before it different when there are cars on the road. “I'll answer his questions first though it makes him feel better.
“One. I’m probably the one of most dangerous thing out here.” She pointed to the tattoo on her arm. Then using her hand to express the mind blown gesture, not saying out loud what she really was. She was also giving away how the others can identify the rest of the pack. She did this do just in case someone else may over hear their conversation.
“Two my name is not written on the sign, but Tash’s national park does have a ring to it don’t you think” she laughed a little oddly. Jus thinking of a place like this name after her was amusing. Out of habit she tried tucking her hair behind her ear, it didn’t stay in place because it was no longer long enough. Maybe she had cut it to short.
“So again now that told you enough about me can you answer my question. Its not even to personal where are you from. From the look of you both I bet it somewhere warm.” She was actually interested and wanted to know more about this unconventional duo.

Everything about his face sharpened seeing her reaction. He watched her roll her eyes and narrowed his in an unamused glare back at her, opening his mouth to make her think he was going to speak. Instead a billowing cloud of smoke from that last intense draught circled around him as he stared at her and smiled disturbingly, exhaling lung cancer in her direction. That attitude of hers was triggering but he almost thought she was a bit baby-faced to be so careless with strangers and his gaze flickered back to his sister. He looked at Feather like she had made a mistake meeting this person and was waiting for her to fix it. Despite posturing a lot to be aggressive in front of others, he was pretty mild and jaded. They could gang up on her easily right now even if he was seeing things in technicolour, processing the hallucinogens.
A minute or so passed and he was practically certain this blonde female sounded exactly like that other girl who came into the shop; only that one was a fussy, nice goody two shoes. That one, his friend liked. He ran a thumb across his lip as if he was wiping something, thinking about Feather being a feminist; saying dumb stuff similar to this girl whenever she thought she could do better with a situation. Suddenly he wasn’t so surprised they were trying to talk to each other, forcing some sort of bond.
Then she flipped him off and he chewed on his tongue, offended but confused that this was what it felt like to be on the receiving end; he always flipped people off. It was just a hand gesture, amongst all other hand signs he did yet this was malicious and he threw the cigarette end on the ground with a forceful flick. A glimmer of disdain showed in his eyes as he controlled himself from cussing at her and pushed off the bench. She just called him a cat; it was almost an insult sounding like she labeled him a pussy. ‘Almost’ because he knew he could maul her anytime and she didn’t really answer anything he asked. She was deflecting; she was scared of giving herself away and now he trusted her even less but it looked like Feather was going to be fine.
”Whatever…” Cloud muttered, holding off from adding a slur, standing up and stepping over to where the red hot cigarette was. Smushing it with the sole of his squared angular boot, he checked it in passive aggression. The ash and tobacco leaf residue crushed into black dust as he let out his annoyance and stood to the side of the path, waiting for the women to sort themselves. It was a joke that the petite girl said she was some deadly beast and he didn’t bother to look at her gesticulating as she spoke her numbered terms. The fresh rebellion in her came across too obviously and he understood what she wanted; she was defensive because she was nervous. She was confrontational because she was trying to be hard.
What he did get was that her name was Tash and he was now sure, she was the same girl that night, trying to stop another kid from getting piercings. She failed, he had just stabbed the boy anyway; they were all on some terrible mixture of alcohol and he had taken some pills too, giving them a bag of his own. It was a wild night at the shop and they were the only customers so he had closed up to fuck around with them. About her though, when did people get drunk and turn delicate ; this was a weird reversal and he just shook his head, bleached hair like a spikey mop moving. ”You don’t remember huh?”
Cloud mentioned, knowing she’d be embarrassed and suspicious that he could possibly know something she didn’t. Fact was, he did; she was a rainbow haired doll and it was not one of her finer moments.”She’s the girl who couldn’t watch a nipple piercing and almost threw up.” He chose his words deliberately, the muscles around his mouth creasing into a smug but small smirk as he taunted her, reminding Feather. He would just put this out into the universe and let Feather answer her with whatever friendly crap she wanted; she could decide if she wanted to reveal where they were from, it was no big deal. His sister knew about everything he did, everyone he met and he expected the same from her; it kept them safe.
Careful though, he didn’t want to overstep as his sister had blown up on him before; he just found it interesting now that he was piecing together drug induced memories, pretty glad his touchy hostility was fading.”You’re the one Rêve likes… or maybe it was the other chick.” That was a satisfying retort at her and he wasn’t even sure why he said these things; now he was finished, now he could shut his hole, kicking away the stone Feather had rolled over to him earlier. Sooner than later, he would find out if she even understood what he was picking on her with in that comment. He was the victim, of her hormones, who was now cupping that cigarette box again, shuffling it with a few taps of his hand to align the straws evenly, holding a fresh one ready for another hit; just letting the THC do the honours while the psilocybin shocked his brain cells.

Feather couldn’t help but to chuckle slightly as this woman put her brother in his place. She really thought he really needed to be told to shut up they were twins so often one would talk for the other. When the blonde had guessed cat it was somewhat shocking. Did they really smell like a cat? She almost wanted to go to a animal shelter and see what a room for of cats smelt like. Yet again this girl did smell have a light dog smell maybe was something similar they gave off. “I’m sorry.” Feather kept sending passive energy in this girl’s direction. She just seemed so confident. “cougars really.” she didn't say to the rhe girl directly,.she spoke it out quiet but she could certainly hear if she was paying attention.
Feather listen as she sort of explained what she was and who she was within the two questions Cloud had given her. She had already put two and two tougher before her brother had even said anything. Tash smelt like a dog, she was Quileute and she was from reserve she had to be a shapshifter. Her heartbeat increases with excitement and she finally met someone who like her brother she could relate to."Being a wolf would be kind of neat."
She could tell Cloud was not really happy with the new girl, he would pobably take offense to being called a cat, morelikely he think she was calling him a pussy.Feater knew her bother wasnt one to take trash talke even though this girl was actually just guessing what they might be. Being mountain lion shapeshiftersstjis wolf girl they might smell like cats.
she was being told he when when he said he had met her before Feather hoped it was anything too bad. She bit her lip awkwardly as her Cloud mentioned she had almost thrown up over a nipple piercing. She was cover in tattoos and had her septum pierced but a nipple even made her a bit queasy." So she was the rainbow trashbag barbie, you mention? I'm sorry your friends actually let you go anywhere looking like that." She heard that three people came in to out of their minds and Cloud just did what they asked for.
“Cloud that’s not nice, I have seen you pierce many different people back in Arizona and the nipples still get me.” It don’t know if it she could sympathize with the pain but nipple piercing was just gross. It just gave her chills thinking about it.
She turned her attention back to Tash. “We grew up there in Phoenix that’s probably were got his shitty manners from. We seen all sorts if things out there so if the worst thing was dress up in a stupid costume I sure your great." She wanted this to smooth things over, Tash actually seemed sort of fun.
Feather then went back to taking about where they were from."Now we just are from wherever we feel like being for a while. We’re Free spirits, never really met anyone else like us before.”
It was sweet to see that Cloud has some interest in who she was or at least knew someone who liked her. She was cute, Feather could see many guys having interest in Tash. She was petite and beautiful most boys like that.
Feather though once looked somewhat like this girl but it had been years since her skin was such a empty canvas, and se was a bit taller thee rhe average girl it gave men a complex.she wasn't asked put to often.
Feather took Tash’s hand and her looking at the lines on her palm and feeling her energy.“This Rêve guy must a good taste then. Your energy is glowing most guys can’t resist something like this." She let go of Tash's hand and reached into her pocket. "Unless there is another girl and if there is I'd feel sorry for her.” Feather pulled put a tiny energy stone and placed it in the girls hand." Here take this,it wards off bad energy"

She stood there with a hand on her hip, trying to look tough. It was hard at her stature but stature didn’t mean but was the attitude you had to back it up. Feather apologized and mentioned under breath the they were indeed a cat like shape shifter. Tash found this quite cool actually. She had never heard of other types of shifters from her father but it did make sense. Different indigenous tribes had different animals that they seen as sacred. The wolves were easily angered maybe the cougars got equally pissy too.
Being asked of she remembered threw Tash off she really didn’t remember this guy. Her memory of some of the recent events where a little more foggy then she would like to admit. She had been a little more wild now compared to the protected girl she was for way to long. She just tried shrugging it off but she couldn’t as soon as Cloud started to mention nipple piercing. She had remembered being in the shop, with Catcher and Seth during their wild night of partying. Tash could handle a lot but when it came to watching large needles going through someone’s flesh is mad her nauseous.
Tash was embarrassed when Feather mentioned her being the rainbow Barbie. It wasn’t her most prideful moment but from what she could remember of the events at least she had some fun at some point that night. It was the morning after that was the roughest part. “Sure was, I looked more like a troll and its very common to not like watching some giant skewer go threw living flesh. From what I remember you where just as high as we were. I should have puked of the floor it would have been funny watching You have to clean it up.”
Just thinking about it made her stomach turn slightly. She rather cut of her pinky toe in some freak accident before she did anything like that to herself. She was glad to see she had a ally in Feather when it came to not liking nipples piercing maybe it was a girl thing.
Cloud caught her off guard again when he mentioned Rêve. Had Catch became friend with this guy. I guess its common to bond with someone who etches something personal into your skin. She was still a bit annoyed by Cloud but it seemed he was the type of guy who knew to handle a bold woman. Feather had grabbed her hand and was looking at it curiously.
“You mean Catcher?” It was true there was something going between them they had a shared a few intimate moments, and he save her life. She won’t be one to kiss and tell. “I can’t really answer that for you, I’m not opposed to him seeing people. I’m certainly not being tie down either.” Cather was probably too go for her anyways. Tash needed the freedom for too long her heart wasn’t hers to even think about other guys.
Her hand was released by Feather and she was going on about some energy a stone in her hand saying it had a way to ward off bad energy. Tash wasn’t really into that kind of stuff but it was very kind of Feather to give her the little stone. She slipped it into a little zipper pocket her boot where she often sore cash when she didn’t bring a wallet.
“ Thanks you. You know what else wards of bad energy.” Tash picked up a little pebble and chucked it, hitting Cloud on top of his shaggy blonde head. “When your around as many guys usually am you find little ways to irritate them. I have two brothers and then all their friends, a girl had to learn. It’s hard being a she wolf in a group of guys. You just have to be tougher.”

His vision began to blur sporadically; if he had been looking at lines or words they would have been separating into two then coming back together again. It was like he needed glasses and he rubbed his eyes quickly with the back of his hand and blinked a few times, the shape extremely almond. If it wasn’t for this, he would have been obviously shocked that Feather had specified his exact words about Tash; it wasn’t the most flattering description. There were strains of bloodshot colour and he hung his head trying not to laugh at his sister calling herself a cougar. Everything was funny but not funny at the same time; she probably could be a cougar later on in life. Cloud had no clue where these things were coming from but that’s why he liked weed. He was creative with it.
Exaggeratedly, he rolled his eyes as if they’d fall into his head. His mouth was open in an inaudible ‘what’, slightly betrayed; they grew up together, in the same place for fuck sake. He wasn’t trying to be nice and that nipple thing was definitely a girl problem but he didn’t want to say it in front of Tash. Now his sister was chastising his manners like she was any better with random guys. He was sick of grown men complaining about it to him, or wanting to know how to get with her and if she was really like that all the time. His sister had no idea why she intimidated men and was hardly ever approached. It was better they weren’t tied down and he wouldn’t be able to stand some worthless shithead being with her anyway so he never told her. If they couldn’t interest her then they were all kinds of no and had zero game.
Cloud watched as Feather gave a stone to Tash and almost protested but it was too late; they were even touching hands. She knew her two minutes and was already giving her stuff; giving people things they never even asked for. He frowned and put his hands on his head in a silent struggle over her generosity and need to help. Harping about energy and stuff again when most people had no brain for it, he was judgmental that people were too stupid to get this about Feather, yet they would act like she was the crazy one and he didn’t want her to expose herself the way she did. Every single time, he couldn’t stop her; it was a crash course to her alienating people even if those people weren’t worth it. She literally just tried to boost a relationship she knew nothing about, talking about ‘the other girl’ like Tash was the greatest.
While Tash tried to pay for it, he grew surprised as if he was learning something new about her; something positive but silly. Knowing Feather, she was offering it for free with her heart. ”Yea… weird you guys don’t call him by his real name. It’s like you don’t know him at all.” Dismissive of Tash talking about herself wanting to be free from the burden of a partner, it sounded shallow to Cloud compared to what he had heard from Catch and he reflected they were not a good match. He made a mental note to tell Catcher he should go with the other chick or just pick some other girl, not this pixie who was the definition of mixed signals. Guy didn't realise he had options. Being older, he had seen this before, been there before and it was dangerous. He was about to question why someone like Catch would like her but maybe it just boiled down to trying her and he stopped caring, making up his mind. So far, it was the drunken night and this little revelation that intrigued him and now it was going nowhere so he would just have to see what else came up.
Contradicting his need to shake his head, he nodded very slowly and rocked on his feet before pulling out another wrapped tube to chain his health hazard from the box he was fidgeting. The cig burned and he was about to de-stress instantly when he got hit by a rock in the head; it made him drop the plastic lighter in his left hand and he pursed his lips tightly to hold onto the cigarette. Shooting her a pissed look, he picked up the same pebble and chucked it back at Tash; in that second wishing it would clock her in spite of not aiming properly to hit her so Feather wouldn't panic.
She-wolf; makes sense.”So, Cats and Dogs huh…” Shrugging to himself, he was relieved she wasn’t something more fantastic or could do things he couldn’t, like fly or turn invisible. ”How many of you are in your pack?” He smoked lightly, supporting the cylinder between his forefingers, appearing to have wisdom instilled as he put a hand in his pocket, a painted thumbnail visible, still testing the waters and fishing for information. There were genuine questions he had never gotten the chance to ask the only other person who could tell him, and it was because things always felt too dark when he tried. Hearing her, it was like bad shit never happened; she wasn't so secretive and he wanted her to be ignorant so she would spill what he hoped to gather. Although she was not the alpha, Cloud calculated she'd be leverage against them. The way she had brothers to protect her could be played both ways. ”And, if a wolf is not in your group… then what happens if he runs into them? Do we get some sort of truce too?”

This weird banter between Cloud and Tash was odd. They were both quite garded in conversation between each other like neither was fully invested, they had a common topic those so far these Rêve guy. It at least was something, she watch as Tash reached in to a bot pocket and pulled out a bill, she rejected it of course. “It’s a gift, you might need it help sometime.” Feather loved reading people she often though she new what they needed just by meeting them. She always had a few different crystals in her pocket that she give away if seemed warranted. She knew Cloud really didn’t like her being open to people but is was just who she was. No one would change that.
It was strange that if she was close to this Catcher guy that he didn’t even know his real name, was he just so guarded that he would even tell a girl he found cute his real name. “is it possible his real name doesn’t suite him. I know if I was stuck being a Jennifer I’d probably not be the person I am today.” Feather loved how creative her mother was with her name. She had never met someone as creative as her it probably were out got his art talent from.
Watching him light yet another cigarette Feather signed, he defiantly wasn’t sober she be driving them wherever they need to go next. Sometimes she partake in some medicinal drug consumption but her brother was almost past a state of awareness.
“Do you have to keep lighting those? I can tell you that you’ll get cancer but that’s probably not true.” She could put up with he drug use, as long it was nothing too hard core their metabolism burnt it off pretty quickly.
A few questions that Cloud had been asking hadn’t even crossed Feather’s mind. She really wasn’t thinking about politics maybe they wouldn’t be excepted in this area. A lot of people didn’t like newcomer moving in on a territory. They weren’t a gang though do this stuff should matter. “ Just because we’re overgrown predators we don’t have to rip each other apart.” She laughed because she knew cats and dogs could easily get along.
It was intriguing that she was a part of a pack, the dynamic was probably very fun they all would have their own part to play. “yes let’s hear about you pack, its probably cool having a tight group of people to share you secrets with.” She only had Cloud and she had her it was always hard to connect with people on a deeper plane.
Her brother was wiser then her trying to find what type of changes the stood being around their home area “ I you just don’t reject other wolves do you? I know we are not the same but I’ll suck if we have to leave not long after getting g here. Forks is a beautiful place.”

Why did Cloud words make her so upset, SHe didn’t even know the real name of the guy who saved her life? She had been friends with before that was it a way to keep people distant. It hurt her slightly, it not like she was going to be a stalker and chase him down if he ever took off again yet again Embry might so maybe that’s why her never said anything.
It still wasn't a good enough excuse as she tried to put her pieces together. “Well, sometimes it's fine to keep secrets. He probably hasn’t told me because of my bother?.” Her tone was a questioning one and not really knowing why she wanted to get to the bottom of it.
Reaching down the front for her dress she pulled her phone out from where she had stashed it. She quickly sent Catcher a text with a bunch of words in Caps and some question marks and a few angry face. The content was not very exciting she was just man some random guy they met in a tattoo shop was fucking with her or something.
Feather mentioning that maybe his name didn’t suite his personality help a little but at the same time how did Catcher match him ether. It was probably a name he just gave out because in high school all the girls were after him. She hadn’t been but back then they weren’t close, she was too occupied with another.
She held her phone in her trying not to looked like it bother her at all. Cloud seemed to be interested in seeing how large the pack as possibly wondering if there were too many to handle on his own. She was to sure either.
There two different Alphas but they all came together for a common goal. A odd look crossed her face as she tired counting everyone. She probably looked like an idiot not know exact numbers, but Tash couldn’t come up with a definite number. “There enough of us to have two groups. The Black pack, and the Uley pack.” She didn’t even know if that was right.
She started out coming here so confident but she had been so distant from the other after at her life drama she never really paid attention. “ Around ten under my brother, the others I can care less about I mean they are there but I don’t bother with them much.” She made a mental not to really find out exactly numbers some time. She looked on the ground near where Cloud were he was discarding his butts in the dirt she had the mind to tell him to cleanup his shit but it really wasn’t her responsibility to be the trash police. Feather and seemed to just as investing in Clouds next question as her was. Most of the ones she would consider to be outsider all had some Quillute blood in the form some family member. She could really think of anyone, but it up be up to one of the higher ups instead. “I wouldn’t really worry about getting kicked out of here or having to leave, if that what you two are worried about.” They pack were not territorial over Forks, though if there was a vampire in the area the often went to investigate.
“The only thing we have problem with are Vampires, and even that is questionable these days. The cold ones we really worry about are the ones that feed on humans. You haven’t ran into any have you?” They had to either grow up in a place that may have had a population of leaches somewhere.
She looked back down at her phone but still hadn’t got a response from Catcher. She knew she have to give him a piece of her mind later if she never answered. She knew she wasn’t going to be man at him when she saw him face to face. The was something about him she could stay mad at him.
Her mind went back to Catcher and the to Embry hurt him pretty bad. “ Sometimes if be best you just play nice with the male wolves if you meet them, some can get very ugly.”

Cancer? That was what she worried about? Cloud knew he was never going to die from Cancer; there were too many other things he did that would kill him first. It was a race between all other kinds of drugs, living like there was no tomorrow and being murdered. He could wager a few things that was bringing him closer to his eventual death. Maybe he should make a bet with her.
Smoking faster than usual since it was a thing to do when he didn’t know what else to do; it helped him think when he was high. His motto of living fast only made sense to his sister sometimes. ”Hey, I don’t smoke them all the way ok…” Arguing with a lame excuse, he had just fizzed through the previous one because of Tash but usually he tried to cut back when it reached three quarters; wasting perfectly good tobacco. At this point he knew Feather resented the smoke and put the cigarette back in his mouth, waving his hand to push the toxic air away from her. He wasn’t going to stop though, he just lit it; he was actually probably giving her cancer.
He stepped away from them and went back to the bench so he wouldn’t stain Feather with the smell. Elbows on his knees, he didn’t expect to agree with her that they could get along. Cats and Dogs did come to an understanding a lot of the time. It would take him a bit more effort to get used to this, one person was different to a whole group; her pack would know about them if she told and he couldn’t make light of that. He didn’t even know if he’d like her as an individual; only time would tell, and he was aware he had to be fair about making friends. It never went down well when Feather liked someone he didn’t and Tash was pretty normal, not trouble for him. Trouble for him would be a girl he didn’t see as a kid sister; Every woman he got with so far had Feather clawing up the walls and sacrifices had to be made. Feather was softhearted and a target for toxic people so he had to be cautious for her. He would be a screwed up brother if he didn’t do what he could to make sure they were alright no matter where they went or who they met; she was lucky he was the one who always got provoked just for being himself and he was fortunate she reined him in. A lost cause without her; she was the drive to keep going. She used to give him protection or healing stones too but he always forgot to keep them on him; now they were just all over his room.
”I’m gonna start calling you Jennifer til you like it…” The sentence was slightly muffled, as he clenched the fag and joked, unable to enunciate; he could be kidding but he could also get on board if she was a Jen. Constantly calling her Feather meant it wasn’t as much of a novelty as it was for others; anything average and boring would be.”I dunno, it all works to me… but it’s because I know what it means. And it makes me laugh.” Two grey streaks of fog fanned out of his nostrils, and he coughed, covering his mouth for a moment to regain his breath, referring to Catcher Reeves; eyeing Tash as she checked her phone agitatedly. Someone was getting called out and he bit his lip, grinning to himself childishly. She had even stared at him shedding ashes all over the ground and he did it more as she looked like she had something she wanted to say.
Cloud made no move when Feather talked about leaving like they would be kicked out of the area; he wouldn’t take that. If it came down to bullying his sister away to some place, he would make friends with his enemy’s enemies; whatever it took. The more his twin spoke, the easier he picked up on Feather’s enthusiastic tone, curious about wolves and their ways. That was when Tash actually began counting and he was taken aback they were numerous enough she couldn’t keep track. ”We can get you a kitten if you want.” He was mocking Feather over wanting more of their kind to come together; they were left alone and he would never forgive other shape shifters of their bloodline. There was so much he held against them being broken down with early independence; he believed they were out there but abandonment meant he couldn’t even find excitement in running into another mountain lion.
”I might have seen some cold ones…” He recalled some customers being very frigid with pain having shiny, icy skin; there were also a lot of pale people he only met with at night in the clubs or during gigs. They weren’t a fan of being out in midday and smelled unusual, corpse like. This was the first time anyone had called vampires ‘cold ones’ though.”They pay well, party hard, don’t say much about life... Don’t know if they know what we are though…” Obviously, he never saw them eat even when underground musicians tended to group and have a posse. They didn’t seem to open up about what they did even when most people treated him as they would when they saw their hairdresser; intimate conversations coming out to distract themselves from the pain of a needle. Now he was a bit paranoid he was surrounded by vampires and whether they could turn Feather into one of them; he could feel them stare at her as he worked.
A fan of pop culture, Tash made it sound like male wolves engaged in a secret fight club. ”I’d like to see a good fight…” Cloud mused, lighting up trying to imagine a brawl that switched from man to beast. It probably would make him sick if he actually watched it; it would feel too real being scarred up like that. Many clients wanted scars covered and he did the best he could to bury their past or memorialize them. His pocket buzzed and he flinched, shoving the fag into his mouth and looking at the phone; the text was one unemotional question. Squinting, he deeply sighed and typed back, then it was radio silence as he mistakenly predicted he’d get a reply within seconds.
”Why’s your brother letting you run around in Vamp territory by yourself, if he sounds like the big guy? Are you all related?” He had been listening even if he looked out of it all the time; Cloud was still staring at the phone, waiting for nothing before he set it down on the seat beside him and inspected the length of his cigarette. It was confusing a family unit would want to combine with one another to make a big group; he didn’t think his kind would ever be up for it. His tone was skeptical as she mentioned her brother heading multiple guys and potentially fending off Catcher for her; he read between the lines that there was beef. Whatever it was, he didn’t see the point and Cloud was quick to take sides, aware of how he tried to be a good brother but also a good friend to a kindred spirit. ”Just sayin, your brother’s making a mistake.” It was ominous, it meant a range of things, a hint she wasn’t in satisfactory hands with him, with the world, or with them.
