The last period of classes ended throughout the school. He had skipped it altogether so the only difference that made was the sudden influx of students exiting to scatter around the campus. Catcher was lying on a bench amongst the bleachers, high enough he was a distance from the track and even further from the field but low enough he could see everyone clearly and they could still hit him with a ball. Thanks to ultra-hearing, he could tell whatever noises people made and had to block it out with rock music turned up at an extreme volume so anyone sitting beside him would listen in. It was a large field, tracks for running stretching around the centre; the opposite side where he was, stayed adjacent to the school, exactly where he had been timing students that fateful day when Ellie fell during Physical Ed.
Some days he was waiting for Seth after school, others he was just getting away from lessons that he either hated or felt was a waste but didn’t want to go home yet. Today he was staying longer because of some pep rally practice that his best friend wanted to see, possibly attend; he wasn’t sure if this meant participating but he didn’t put it past Seth to do something outrageous like audition for the band or tryout with the cheerleaders. He knew no one in either crowd but that was just because he hadn’t met a number of people yet, sticking around the same familiar faces in the pack and sharing classes with mostly Veronica since he arrived. Here and there, Ellie and Natasha were present but one was so shy he felt bad for constantly bothering her and the other was surrounded by people or hanging off the arm of two very frustrating guys. He was team Quil but even then, a part of him was waiting for Quil to step up his game against his nemesis, some human who transferred recently. It was always funny to watch, though at times he wanted to intervene with a clandestine idea to draw Natasha to him, steal her, which would have incurred the ultimate wrath of his first friend, first brother and it was no longer a laughing matter. Not a passable joke. So he remained a background figure in that situation and regarded Natasha as a sister over repeated brainwashing and as a rule of thumb for the entire pack; this was a constant reminder she was off limits and ever since he told Seth he thought she was attractive, his priorities became stopping the boy from spilling it, never really finding out her opinions of him.
Removing himself from that drama as much as possible, he spent little to no time with her and realised Veronica was causing him to catch feelings. She was straightforward, fun and took his mind off everything with bright ideas and then he couldn’t ignore the way she dressed, and the way she paid attention to him while trying to act like she couldn’t be less bothered what he was up to. The bonus being she was the other hottest girl in school; he was lucky she paid him any mind and he didn’t jeopardise that with introspective questions of what she saw in him in case he screwed up from overthinking. She intimidated him at times and seemed to know every girl he had to interact with, a detriment to his cause; he didn't even know what that was at this point. Every time he saw her they were closer, she was burying deeper into his heart. But then he would separate himself when Embry came in the middle and he was always in between, a firm representative for the rest of the protective guys.
Pulling out an earphone, he sat up, shielding his eyes from the sun, remembering he had a baseball cap on his head that he just didn’t want to wear properly, defeating the purpose of having it for the outdoors. A group of brightly dressed girls walked out onto the field, others without the uniform following, and surprisingly a cluster of guys that appeared to fit the geeks. What did he know, people could do whatever they wanted and he kept his cap back to front, flannel completely unbuttoned with a retro shirt underneath; it was too hot for jackets and he took a break from looking so ostentatious with leather, the tousled hair hidden under the hat and metal accessories still making him look like he rolled out of bed.
Instruments and marching students occupied one side of the field, mats piled and the water boy rushed to the benches as the popular cheerleaders prepared themselves with stretches, the summer uniform light and almost neon against the green grass. He was bending the book in his hand on his lap, opened and bookmarked by a thumb as he observed with squinted eyes and a half amused smile; having been reading then trying to nap with nobody around, he thought he was wide awake now.

When the bell rang symbolizing the end of class, Seth dashed right out of the school and straight for the sports field. He was excited for this afternoon. He thought about the best idea to get Catcher and him more involved in the school to gain popularity among the other students. He wanted to do something to gain the attention of girls. Trying out for either the cheerleaders squad or becoming the newest person to wear the Wally the wolf costume would definitely gain them attention for the ladies. Who didn't like a cute muscular guy in a uniform? Seth had thought about playing football but with the pack he couldn't put that much time commitment into learning all the plays and all the practices. Not to mention if someone came running to tackle him they probably break all their ribs on impact, and he would feel terrible to see some jocks dream crushed because of his little genetic advantages.
Reaching the beaches, he could see Catcher had made it out to the field first. He must have skipped class or had a free period because he was already sitting there waiting for him. Chucking backpack up to land with thud beside Catch, Seth jumped up quickly and took a seat next to his faithful companion. It was very rare to find Seth anywhere else at the end of the day then with Catcher unless he was called away by Sam to do some pack thing. He was the youngest so as rank went he was often the last one Sam called on. He didn't mind though he enjoyed the freedom that came with being the youngest of the pack and less patrol duties so he could focus more on his school responsibilities. He had a slight suspicion his mother talked to Sam also, because though the pack had looked out for their family since his dad had passed his mom had seemed more protective over him.
Grabbing Catcher hat Seth removed it from his head and flipped it around so that the beak would shed his eyes from the sun placed it back on his buddy's head. "If you are here to watch the girls you'll have to be able to see them." He knew his friend was there waiting for him to reveil his plan for the afternoon, Seth hadn't told him anything yet. He threw an arm around Catcher's shoulder and pulled him in for a huddle smiling and pointed out across the field to where the Cheerleaders practiced. "We are going to stroll up to them and ask to try out. I have already talked to Tash. They need a few more gracefully athletic boys to help with pyramids and tosses, right now they have none so we are almost a shoe in." He smiled knowing his befriend wasn't really the cheerleading type but it would be fun to just see him attempt anything, " Or if that's a bit too crazy for you maybe you can dance around and be the new Wally.." Just picturing Catcher dancing around in the chubby wolf costume made Seth burst into a fit of laughter. "What do you think Bro you down?"

When the bell rang, Veronica jerked her head and not realizing that she had dozed off during history and the teacher didn’t wake her up. She looked around the class, half in daze and lost, blinking her eyes several times to adjust her contact lenses. She fell asleep with contacts on and she never did that before. She waited for rest of the student to leave before getting up and leaving classroom. Most of her classes involved with Catcher, couple with Natasha and other member of the pack. Embry was no where to be found at school which meant she can do what she wanted without getting her butt hauled back home.
Veronica made her way to her locker, unlocked the door and heard couple of cheerleaders discussing routine for pep rally. She couldn’t help listening to them fuss about choreography; it was musing as she was once on a cheerleading team as junior Varsity. She placed books she didn’t need for the night in the locker and keeping history in her bag. She needed to catch up on her history and test was coming up that she needed to study on. Slamming her locker closed, slung her bag back over her shoulder as she followed behind cheerleaders, placed her arms around them and smiled. ”Ladies, I couldn’t help myself from hearing you guys fussing about routine. Why not do a cheer dance to Lipgloss by Lil Mama. It’ll make the crowd, especially boys crazy.” Veronica would have been a cheerleader like back in Maine however she transferred during mid-school year and she couldn’t join.
Girls looked at Veronica like she was some sort of a crazy, lunatic person telling them what the crowd wanted. Veronica gave them not so sweet smile and rolled her eyes at them. Veronica could careless what they did, she knew she was going to mock them for their lame routine. She even thought about ruining their practice by throwing them off their routine by dancing in front of them. Veronica was rather intrigued about how La Push High cheerleaders do things and so far she found them boring. What’d you expect when you decide to haul your ass across country to Rez? Dumb move, V. Her inner thoughts were being buzzkill with spiting out truth and telling her she made a dumb move by moving. She shrugged her shoulders, went to restroom to wash away moody cheerleaders off of her hands. She washed and dried her hands then looked at herself in the mirror. She didn’t have PE today so she decided to dress up a little and with Embry not in the picture, she got away with it. He was protective when it came to her; as a cousin he had to look out for her. In Veronica’s eyes it was bullshit. She was fine all these years without being protected by her family aside from her mom.
She wore plaid pink and grey plaid pleated skirt, black turtle neck long sleeve top with black stockings and black ankle boots. She loved wearing skirts as much as she loved wearing sweat pants. Her brown hair was in pigtails, wanting to chop off her hair but knowing the minute she chopped off her hair, she would regret it. Leaving restroom, she made her way to the field where cheerleaders were going to practice. She was going to enjoy this way more than anyone who’s already there. Clouds cleared through the day and sun was shining; she followed couple of cheerleaders to the field, mimicking their moves. She badly wanted to crash their practice but held off on it. Last thing she wanted was to get suspended from school for doing something stupid. It’s been couple of months since she’s been at La Push but outside of the pack and Catcher, she didn’t have much friends. Veronica can be blunt, outspoken, loving and saying things without a filter or thinking twice. She reached bleacher and saw Catcher and Seth at the top. ”Well hello boys.” Veronica went to first row, placed her backpack on the bleacher and watched the girls warm up. Cheerleading coach was watching Veronica, more like gawking at her making Veronica smirked and winked at the coach.

Cheerleader, she was still.in shock he was asked to join the team.she had tried put earlier in the year but at that point all the spaces had been filled. She didn't mind she hadn't made the cut, she already had track, yearbook and dance committee to occupy her time but when she heard someone had transferred school and there was a space that had opened up she reached out to the coach. She didn't really expect to get a yes but when the coach asked her what size of uniform she needed Tash knew she was accepted and she was elated. Since she had a phase for the first time she had become more graceful than before so she hoped it would help her dance moves and if not then she just have to practice more in her bedroom. She had decided to hide it from her friends for a while not wanting to get teased for taking on yet another activity to keep her busy but today would be the practice for the pep rally. Seth had mentioned meeting up for some reason after school at the bleachers so instead of saying she couldn't make it she slipped into the girl's bathroom before practice and put on her uniform.
While she was changing she heard someone head into the bathroom and wash their hands, climbing up onto the toilet she peaked over the top of the stall and saw it was Veronica. Not wanting to ruin the surprise she waited till Veronica was out of the bathroom before she stepped out of the stall with her backpack. Looking at herself in the mirror Natasha smiled at herself and sat her bag down on the floor to pull her dark brown hair into a high ponytail. She thought she looked super cute and hoped Quil or Justin would find so too but they were both probably too preoccupied to show up to watch a prep rally anyway. Picking her bag off the floor she looked at her watch. It was fifteen minutes till practice began and she didn't want to be late,so one last look at herself ran out of the bathroom and out towards the field.
She made it to the bleachers and saw Seth,Veronica and Catcher. She hadn't spent much time around him ever since she had met him in the woods with Quil one day. From what she had gathered he was nice but she was always too busy either with school or pack stuff she had not been able to really get to know him much. Stepping up on the bleachers she placed a hand on her hip and smiled at her shifter friends. "Well, what do you think? Do I look good in blue and gold?" She spun around and smiled at Veronica." I wish you were on the team with me. Maybe I can put a good word in with the coach, She seem to love my ambitious attitude."

”If I wanted to see girls, I’d be at the strip club.” Blinking in confusion, he watched Seth move about, tossing the bag, incredulous and sarcastic. When did he ever give off such vibes; girls were just girls and they were everywhere, nothing special. It was like everyone thought they could be a thirst trap for him when they weren’t even comforting in loneliness. Awareness that women seemed to want him to be desperate was growing.
Then Seth mentioned they were supposed to go try their hand at cheer leading and his eyes blew up into big orbs, slowly frowning like a sad puppy, he bit his lip in deep trouble. ”Everything about those things I’d do for you, but cheer and dance in one is a lot.” Letting that out, he turned his face, chuckling as he couldn’t believe what they were going to get themselves into; he couldn’t bring down Seth’s mood but he also became jittery with anxiety. If he took this as a job maybe it’d ease him but if this was supposed to be a permanent thing like he loved this extra-curricular, that was going to be very difficult; this was a real commitment not just a onetime thing or short term contract.
”I don’t know… You know I’d be a lot more useful in the band right.” From Seth to the distant cheerleaders with their pompoms laying around unused, he looked to the rest of the people that had mingled around the field and tapped Seth on his arm with the back of his hand, tilting his head in the direction. ”They might have none but I don’t think you’re the only one who got the idea. Still a shoe in though…” He was talking about the rest of the random guys from across the board of stereotypes at this small town school, lining up either to watch or audition with their individual choreography; they were going to be very entertained. It’s not surprising the concept of being the only male in an all-female group would spread like wildfire in the hormone filled adolescent past time and he was fearful for them but applauding their courage and incentive to be judged horribly by self-absorbed girls. In all that, Seth was still supernaturally strong, extremely perky and likeable so he almost wanted to just go and tell them they’d all be missing out if they didn’t take his friend on.”Do you even know what you want to… impress them with?” For lack of a better word, he wasn’t really thinking straight anymore; if he agreed to this, he would be making his bed and he’d have to lie in it by principle.
Cut off by a voice, he glanced over to see Veronica walking carefully up the steps with her almost goth-punk school girl get up. Eyeing her with a weird look on his face that she was overdressed for school today, he watched her make jailbait moves to the cheer coach and struggled not to laugh. Knowing her, she had such a penchant for older men and it amused him, making for a good subject to mock her with. Looking down, he pushed his hat up a little so it sat lightly, more like floating instead of smashing his fringe into his eyes. ”Hey” He muttered while doing so, still partially listening to what was playing in one ear, and leaving her to be admired by the old man gawking at her; prompting him to wonder if it was even a good thing that person was surrounded by short skirted flirtatious girls who didn’t know better about perversion.
Another pair of footsteps came over and he looked up fluidly to see the figure coming up to where they were unlike Veronica. He stared at Natasha for a minute; she was standing in front of the sun where she stopped before them and it was mostly a blurry silhouette but he had no excuse to not see her right there when she was parading her unsurprising uniform. Seth really had perfect timing to spin his cap the right way around and he was rather blank about what she said. His mouth was agape, just wrinkling his face in the continuous confusion before he uttered a disbelieving syllable. ”Hm.”Ambitious attitude might be right but he was thinking more along the lines of 'couldn’t stand being last in anything' as the driving factor. She was a goody two shoes; what a shocker she’d be peppy too. He had seen enough of how she was around Quil and this seemed to tie it altogether well; all Quil had to do was be the quarterback or something. He couldn’t be rude so he nodded very slowly at her, more with discovery than trying to compliment her because the moment he said she looked good, it would either not be enough or regrettable. She really didn’t need his opinion anyway and he just waited for Seth to jump at the opportunity happily; he did want to wear the same colours after all.
With a swift motion, he clapped the book shut in one hand and stuffed it in a careless twist into his back pocket, rotating so he wasn’t sitting straddling the bench; actually facing the field. ”Now that I think about it, V would have a great time on the team.” Chiming in, he set it up for the revenge that she always judged him for talking to girls, pulling out his backpack from under the bench and reaching to grab out a wrapper which turned out to be gum that he popped into his mouth. ”If she keeps that up…” He looked at Veronica as though she was guilty of tempting the man who was still making eyes at her, then answered Natasha with a lopsided grin as he chewed. ”you won’t need to put in any words.”

Seth took a seat beside his buddy and put his leg in front of him to make his shoelaces tied up well. He knew that cheerleading or being the school mascot was way out of Catcher's style but it didn't hurt to try to have some fun. "Of course you go to the strip club, but why do you want old babes you pay for when you can win one over with your baby face." Seth grabbed his friend's cheek and pinched it between his fingers. It was something his great aunt did every time she saw him and he found it hilarious. His buddy was in the right band where he belonged and if he wanted to join the band he would stand in his way. "The music they place is a little dated. I sure if you try to get a spot in the band you feel creatively stifled. Though you could influence them to play something good for once then my all means dude." Seth actually had a drumset sitting in his garage, they belonged to his dad. When he was fourteen he started showing him some stuff but lesions were cut short and he hadn't really touched them since his dad had passed. He was thinking of getting back into it. He knew Catcher played guitar and he heard that Tash could sing pretty well though he had never heard her or even asked her about it.She would probably be too busy doing other things and Quil would probably crash or try to seal her away or something. Its wasn't worth the effort to ask.
Seth felt a tap on his arm and looked out to the field where Catcher had been pointing out. There were a bunch of guys out on the field that seemed to be flirting with none of them girls, and trying to weasel their way onto the team. Seth just waved a hand in the air blowing off the scene." Those guys are probably not very coordinated. I'm assuming they move like cats trapped in a cardboard box."He laughed being shapeshifters made him more agile and fearless. If he never changed would have nevetried out for cheerleading sure he was usually peppy but that was his personality seeing the brighter side to every situation. Most of the other guys on the field look like they had two left feet they wouldn't get far. "There probably won't be much dancing for dudes, they want the boys to bring the show, front flips, handspring, you know the things most people are scared to try because they worry about breaking a bone. Besides, we have hit the genetic lottery. It will take more than a missed step to take us out. All I have to do is a few flips to show off how high I can bounce nothing crazy. " He didn't have a real plan and just thought that if he showed half of his enthusiasm he would make the team no problem.
As mused what he would do to get noticed, Seth turned his head to see Veronica. He was slightly surprised to see she had come out to watch the practice. "Hey there V, just come to enjoy the show?" He smiled at her and observed the little interesting interaction with the coach looking at the guy suspiciously. "Em sees him looking at you like he's going flip." Seth thought Veronica was very good looking, all the wolf girls were, and the more he thought about it the guys were too, it was weird they either all had good jeans or attractive parents. They guys had teased him before saying how beautiful his mom was so maybe a little of both. He shook the thought from his head but not quickly enough he didn't even notice Natasha show up there in front of them.
She was wearing a uniform which Seth found very flattering. Seth smiled and nudged Catcher in the side slightly, they both thought she was attractive even though she was not attainable for either of them to have hanging off their arms she was still nice to look at. Seth stood up quickly and made his way down the bleachers. He put his arms on his shoulder. " You look great, we're all just lucky we get to see you dressed up like this before Quil or Justin. Makes me feel like the lucky one." Seth laughed and kissed her on the cheek. She was just playing but he knew Quil wouldn't like it. Tash didn't see him as anything special either, he was just having a little fun. "I'm hoping to get a spot, but you should try to get Veronica to join too. I wanted Catcher to try out too but I'm not hopeful he might need some convincing."

Veronica had no interest in the coach, she was just entertaining herself. Veronica had her eyes for someone else. Catcher wasn’t a prize or an item but he was this punk, sweet talker, sarcastic guy who loves being a rebel and riding pink bicycle. Catcher was the first person that caught her eye and any girl who goes near her, she got jealous. He was friendly, sometimes too friendly and she didn’t like the fact that girls were thinking he was flirting with him when he wasn’t. She tried not to let it get to her or show that it had affected her in someway but she knew he probably noticed. She scratched her right eyebrow as she watched cheerleaders warm up. Girls barely had any fat on them, heck barely any ass shape; ”How are they going to twerk their ass when they have no ass?” Veronica murmured to herself then laughed at her own words. She knew it was horrible to say or judge them but she couldn’t help it. She was dying to say something about them.
Veronica was so focused on cheerleaders that she didn’t see Natasha coming towards them. If her eyes could be animated as heart shaped it would have then. Natasha wearing blue and gold cheerleading outfit made her look like one beautiful no gorgeous lady. Veronica whistled at her and pulled her friend into a quick hug. Veronica didn’t know Natasha was on the team but it was good surprise. ”Damn girl! When did you become this hot cheerleader?” Veronica was beyond happy for her friend; she too had recently moved back and Natasha deserved to be on the team. Not only that but to gain popularity and make new friends outside of the pack.
Her body turned towards Catcher and flipped him off with a smile on her lips. He was joking around with her and she let him get best of her. ”You just want to see me in a cheerleading outfit, C. If I join, you are joining with me. I would love to see wearing blue and gold colors and cheer hands.” Veronica mimicked cheer hands. She spoke too soon when Seth mentioned that he was trying to convince Catcher to join with him if he gets a spot. Moment before she wanted to be on the team but it was more fun on the other end…watching them. ”I came for the show…not flirt with the school staff. I think they could use you boys on the team…think about all the girls swooning over you two.” Girls were already talking about Catcher, Seth, Embry, Jacob and other pack members and how they wished that they were hooking up. If Seth and Catcher becoming cheerleaders, girls would be all over them, twirling piece of hair with their finger, giggling, little touches and not to mention the fact that they would be most attractive men in the group.
”Quil and Justin would just drool together. It’s a good thing they’re not here today otherwise they would be tearing each other apart for staring at little ms. Cheerleader here.” There were times where she would find Justin trying to flirt with Natasha and Quil fuming. She didn’t need tv to watch any shows when she could get it for free at school. Veronica sat on the bleacher and crossed her legs at the ankle and pulled out her sunglasses. Wearing them, she looked at three of her friends and motioned them to talk to coach or captain for a spot on the team.

Natasha laughed and wrapped her arms around Veronica when she pulled hwrnin for a hug. "Hot?" Natasha shook.hernand and laughed. She thought a lot of the other girls on the team actually looked better than they did in the uniform though compared to the others she just wasn't as confident in the outfit yet. "Today's my first day. I'm just aiming to be okay dancing is not really my thing, I just joined because they don't have a glee club." She shrugged, she had always loved music but really hadn't shown her friends she had any musical talents to begin with. She pointed at Catcher as he spoke up, mentioning Veronica would be good on the team. "See Reeves agrees. The coach just knows talent when he sees it. We just go a little further in some place with the toothpicks over there." She tapped Veronica on the butt softly and smirked. She sort of agreed with Veronica though Catcher probably did.want to see Veronica in a cheerleader outfit. It would be much different then her already extensive wardrobe full of mini skirts. She wiggles her fingers along with Veronica showing off her spirit fingers.
Tash looked over at the other members of the team to be distracted by the boys on the field to even begin practice, she looked at her watch still realizing she had a few minutes to spare to keep taking g to her friends. Seth came up kissed her cheek talking about Quil and Justin making her give a light shade of pink. "They will see me soon enough and maybe it will be nice to see him fight over me sometime besides giving everyone who looks my way the stink eye." Natasha did her best impression of Quil's stare down but she looked more like a confused squirrel then angry teen wolf.
She reached forward and grabbed both Veronica and Catcher's hand and pulled them to their feet. "Come on you two just have some fun and if you don't make the team then at least will have something to look back on when we're older. Afterwards we can always grab some donuts, my treat?" she knew her friends love to eat and who didn't like donuts, she hoped they wouldn't resist her offer.

He looked flatly at Seth clearly unamused; he did not go to the strip club on his own accord. He would if someone else dragged him but the joke had flown over Seth’s head or his friend was mocking the idea, knowing him too well. There was much to dispute about ‘old babes’ versus high school girls who weren’t entirely all there in the head yet; he didn’t mind mature women because they didn’t seem to think he was flirting with them if he was polite. Then there was his baby face, which he was very perplexed finding out since he had never heard anyone say that about him in his life; the pinch, a touch solidifying the moment as he fake laughed in response at Seth.
”That’s true.” Catcher was considering the band group, but if he had been in all the music classes without influencing any of the musicians so far then it didn’t seem worth it to try rocking out with this marching band. ”Maybe…”They looked like they could know a good time but he was pretty sure they were stuck up about songs and not rogue enough for him; listening to and playing ones that did not fit his taste would be a torturous waste of time. In one ear and out again, he heard Embry’s name and the string of others, dismissing that none of those people would ever look at him the same if he joined this peppy team; then it crept up in his mind that if he took Veronica’s offer, they would have an excuse to be around each other, no one in the pack could do a single thing about it and he swayed slightly, his heart a leaf in the wind.
”Does that mean what I think it means?” He winked at Veronica as she flipped him off, the ‘fuckery’ between them evident as he teased; his smile prolonged into a smirk as his mouth chewed on the gum in the most taunting manner before he stood up and slung his bag on one shoulder, fixated on her the whole time. Imagining himself in that uniform with pants was very odd, it worked but it also emphasized how awkward he would be, outweighing the imagery of Veronica in the getup, self conscious that that's what she would see. He would be standing there looking at everyone, the sole moody person, not bubbly for more than a few seconds, mimicking the routine like a puppet. The idea of flipping, executing somersaults and all the tumbles was quite fun, but doing them neatly and not for kicks was dissuasive, he couldn’t just mess around; the term gymnast didn’t appeal much either. If he went forward, he couldn’t look back; these labels will be stuck on him like a kick me sign even if he would endeavor to make cheerleading the next cool thing.
Taking a deep breath as he looked out to the girly athletes doing high kicks and looking happy, he sighed as he walked down to Veronica, lunging across the benches to get to her. When he did, he smiled coyly and wiggled his fingers around her face, ducking slightly to be lower, mystifying her with spirit fingers as though they cast a spell on her. That was demo enough, she didn’t need him to try out at all but he considered seeing what it would be like, only to reject being on the team after; that was actually the better way to get girls if Seth really wanted to know. If he did eventually agree because they wanted him to then they would praise him like their champion ; the benevolent hero, giving these girls a little bit of power back by pleasantly doing them a favour as if they mattered to him personally.
Having watched her with wide eyes, he transferred his visual attention to Natasha and Seth, pleased at his friend’s behaviour but rolling his eyes back to a dreary gaze; whatever irked Quil and Justin, made his day. Seth was compliment enough for Natasha, exactly as he predicted and he still made no remark about her appearance, dissolving what analysis he had of her sweet face and gracile figure, finding it funny that Veronica had reacted like she was checking her out;She seemed awful generous today, even giving him some satisfying openings. Natasha was doing something just as strange, slapping Veronica’s butt like they were plotting seduction and he blinked away what he witnessed.
If the timing had been more perfect, he would have sung to Seth one poignant line in a classic tune that said it all; he would do anything for love, but he wouldn’t do that. That, being spending every few days holding up girls and clapping his hands for no reason; all his love for Seth would only get him as far as setting his pride aside for this one day if came down to it. He turned his head away from them to laugh for a breath at their comments about twerking and then he had to shut his eyes from laughing outright at Natasha’s Quil impression; the real deal he had seen a hundred times. ”Just choose one of them or none of them.”There was no possibility of Quil fighting for her, it was just not right; Justin was a human and for the first time, he took a different stance, aware of the tough position that would bring on everyone, shaking his head slowly, smiling at her naïve search for the knight in shining armour. ”I don’t see why girls would swoon over guys on their cheer squad when they have options lining up. Bit narcissistic… if all they want is someone who loves to be exactly like they are.” Grimacing for an instant, he couldn’t fathom how that logic worked, there was nothing magnetic about a mirror image and Catcher appeared to have shivered a little.
As he was about to make his way to the grass, Natasha took their hands and he shook it instead, mirth in his eyes. ”Yes to the donuts, I’ll see how this hands on education goes…”Fifty years from now, did he really want to look back at this phase; she definitely did. If he died tomorrow this would be that out of character thing he wanted buried, this was more motive to stop living fast than anything else. He paused, tilting his whole posture back, narrowing his vision of her in mock disbelief."Oh, you think we might not make it? Might need a private session if you get what I'm saying."
Brushing past her, he strolled casually over the field, creating a divide between people until he stopped behind the strange group of volunteers, he left his friends to see what the fuss was about without their pushiness. The people were so crowded together he couldn’t really tell what they were looking at but he rounded them as if to head into the school, finally glimpsing that it was just skirts flapping as girls did some weird hair toss bending motion and he watched, processing how he was always caught in some bad life story.

Even with his prodding and suggestions Seth could still see that Catcher wouldn't probably even be down for the band. It was just not in Catcher personally to commit to a group of people that he didn't have any connections with and Seth was okay with that. He would rather have his best friend be happy and comfortable then be forced to do anything he didn't want to do. Seth was glad to have someone to hang out with in the afternoons when he was free from pack duties. Catch being the new guy and him being the youngest of the pack they didn't have as much responsibility as the others did. Sort of like Tash and Veronica, they all ran in the pack at times but only with Sam's orders. The girls were even lower than then on the call list as they seemed to have a way of distracting the boy. Sam often got tired of trying to keep everyone focused. It didn't bug Seth anything less pack duties the more time for fun. "If you don't want to join anything then just don't. I'm not going to be upset if you don't, it will just be fun to try out together, no commitment needed bro." He grinned knowing that he himself would probably enjoy the cheer team and half the year was over anyway it wasn't much to commit so late in the year.
He let go of Natasha and grabbed his bag holding it by the little handle at the top knowing if he didn't remember it now he would probably forget it on the beaches all night. He was a bit of a scattered brained at times forgetting things if something more interesting caught his attention. Right now it was the tryouts and possibly the large amount if red bull drank just before his last class ended. Seth could feel the caffeine surge coming in now running around his bloodstream. He was getting more hyper by the minutes. He bounced on his heels a few times and looked out towards the field. He could see it looked like they were starting line people up for stretches.
Seth watched as Veronica mentioned Cather just wanted to see her in the blue and gold uniform. It was not only Catcher that wanted to see Veronica in school colours but probably the whole male population of the school. She has a style very similar to what the cheerleaders wore for practice so if she never stepped foot on the field her clothing choices sometimes left little to the Imagination. He wished he could find a girl like Tash or Veronica that was less like family to him and more than just a pretty face. For a while he actually had a girlfriend but she was swept away to Paris with her family like a wave out to sea, he hasn't heard a word from Souleil since. they weren't meant to be, he enjoyed the time they had together anyway. It was.some.of his motivation to try out, not to waste time on the past and keep moving towards a better future. " Quil's got Justin beat hands down, she doesn't have to choose, their soulmates." Seth rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue he had heard what happened at the movies between Tash and Quil. It actually caused a bit of tension which had been resolved for the most part. He wasn't involved and he would stick his nose where it didn't belong.
They were two other boys on the list of admirers and Seth knew if Catcher actually did get a uniform it would probably give him the advantage over the others being able to help pick up and toss them around like the little dolls they were. " Tash you do know if we all make it on the team will be staring up your skirt as we do tosses and pyramids." Seth laughed hard knowing there was no way around it, she could be modest at times and she probably get a bit shy about the whole thing . Being tiny she would probably be one who got tossed around she had less chance of breaking bones then the other but the coach would know anything about it and they could never mention it either. Being mostly unbreakable was an advantage but a secret they could never share.
Seth could see that convincing Catcher would be a difficult task but a bribe with donuts always went well in their grip of friends. They were almost something they couldn't resist. He didn't understand the full allure of the sugar confectionary but if it helped get his ass off on the bleached and onto the field, Seth would take it. Bouncing on his heels, he looked over at some of the other guys who looked unfit; they probably could run laps without giving up halfway through. He could help but to laugh at someone else who was one hundred pounds soaking wet there was no way that guy could hold up a cheerleader. They were definitely the best candidates. "I'm definitely making the cut."

Being around Natasha, she always had a smile on her lips. Growing up together then leaving and coming back together, it meant that their friendship is going to last for an eternity. Veronica laughed lightly when Natasha smacked her butt. ”Oh you like it that way, huh?” There was something different about her friend that she couldn’t put her finger on it. Mentally shrugging the thought, she wasn’t ready to be a cheerleader. After transferring and when they told her that she couldn’t be on the team, she made her peace. There is always next year. ”Tash, I’m truly okay not being a cheerleader. Plus, they’re boring duds. I can sit this season out and we can be on the team next time.” Looking at the cheerleaders who where doing cheer stunts, tumbling and she had to admit it was almost good. She memorized their routines by watching them however she wondered if it was their routine or just warming up.
As the clouds covered the sun once more, missing the warmth the sun had provided her. She was already warm as it is but something about the sun shining and blessing the world with warmth and brightness that warmed her heart. Maine weather is a good deal harsher. Washington state and Maine state were somewhat similar for Veronica. However Maine weather is a good deal harsher. Much much colder than anywhere in Washington save for a few volcanic summits. And much warmer save for a few areas in eastern Washington where the differences is states really stand out. The cold wasn’t the issue now that she was a wolf. That wasn’t the case prior to becoming a wolf. She had to wear enough layer of clothes to keep her warm. Now she walks around in mini skirts, shorts, tanks, light weight clothes like it was summer.
There was something about Catcher Reeves that Veronica was drawn to. Whether be a thrill of being someone she shouldn’t be or crush she had to get it out of her system. Her heart would flutter every time he’s near her, even if he isn’t her instinct would know he’s around. It was a dangerous territory for her, pack brothers does not like their pack sister date someone they don’t approve of. Yes, they can be friends but forget about dating. She watched Catcher stride down the bleachers, making her stomach do flip flops and her throat was suddenly dry. Taking water bottle out of her bag, she took a sip and placed it back in the bag. She looked up in time to see spirit fingers from him. ”How about I sneak into your house later tonight and show me what else your fingers can do?” She heard him sing and heard about playing a guitar but never really heard it in person. But she had other things in mind when it came to Catcher.
”Well, who ever she picks better treat her right. I’m not about to have blood on my hand.” Like everyone else in the pack, she was protective of Natasha. She was naive in some ways and having two guys fawn over her. It was rather hilarious to see which guy she would pick at the end and which one will be throwing daggers with eyes. ”May the best man win.” Veronica wasn’t rooting for Quil or Justin, she was just there for entertaining purpose on what they might do to each other. Aside from drooling, fighting and god knows what, Veronica will be there to watch it. Seth was right about soulmates; when you know you know. Everything will change on how you see a person until then, none of them have to worry about soulmates. They’re kids and this is their time to make mistakes, have fun and do whatever their half-human heart desires.
Veronica slid her hand from Natasha’s grip and sighed. One hand, she didn’t want to try out and one the second hand she didn’t want to say no to her friends. A dilemma she hated. She could tell Catcher wasn’t too thrilled about it. ”This is why we wear shorts underneath our skirts. Can’t be doing a peep show for little man.” She linked her arm to Seth’s as he talked about how he’s going to get selected. Looking at human boys, they were out of shape and were not cut for cheerleading spot. ”Donuts or not, I am not doing this. I love you guys but nope. I got a date with the bleachers and if Mr. C wants to join me, he can.” Tt was rather odd that they were having people tryout or join the team this late. There were enough people so she didn’t truly understand as to why they needed more people. Guys sure but girls? Not so much. She unlinked her arm from Seth's and stood on the side of the field just to observe.

A big laugh came out of her mouth and she quickly covered her face embarrassed. She hated her laugh but when she was around Veronica and Seth she usually laughed a lot. They always had a way of getting her to have fun, now that she was trying to encourage it felt a little silly. " No not really but I just really want you to try out with me ." She pouted and stuck out her bottom lip giving the puppy dog a look. She just wanted her friends to join the team so she had some people on the team she actually knew. She had talked to the other girls before actually having some fun being around them as they made jokes and talked about the routines but some of them just seemed a little mean. She wasn't sure if she just because of this new girl that came into the school joining the extra-circle or the fact she seemed to have a crush on a big group of guys. Whatever it was she wasn't going to let her down. "I know for sure you would have fun, and if those boys are boring there will be more approaching you in no time"
Watching the banter between Veronica and Catcher was interesting and it took her attention for a moment. She had heard from V herself she liked the rebellious bad boy type and though Catcher did have a sort of way about him she didn't know him well enough to make any decision on what sort of lab to give him. All she knew they were similar, both of them didn't look quite native they both had blood that made them part of this group of shifters, he was easier to trace but he was somewhat of an outsider. Listen to Veronica make a comment about his fingers made her face light up as red as a tomato."Honestly V, virgin ears.," She took her hands and put them over Seth's ears. It not like he hasn't heard anything like that before but it was shocking to hear Veronica speak like that."That’s just… just no" she didn't know why her mind went right to dirty thoughts l, it must have been around the guys all the time. Thoughts still slipped minds sometimes and being a girl in the pack wasn't always the greatest.
The cheer squad got to travel around to the other high high schools in the area, even Forks he didn't want to be the only wolf in vamp country. If there was a game in Forks she might just have to make an excuse not to go. People always say she has the sweet little thing but when she smelt vampires she became a little hot head. She rolled her eyes at Catcher as she told her to pick one of the boys. She really didn't have to pick, something did happen between Quil and her but she was still trying to understand all.of it herself. Seth talking about Quil being her soulmate didn't help at all. "Yes something happens at the movies whenever we want to tell everyone we will." She knew Catcher knew more than what he was letting on. They had originally met in the woods and Quil had called his girlfriend. To most it was obvious where her loyalty stood." They swoon over them because of popularity, they just know the weird awkward ones are better than the jocks." She half smiled, she just had a sweet face under all the makeup and dark hair she was more of a nerd then she would ever let on.
Seth talking about looking up the shirts made her blush a little but Veronica was right. They wore shorts underneath them and she knew some less modest clothes but she checked the mirror to see how much they cover and they were fine." It's all part of the sport just don't let Jake or the others hear you talking like this. They either get mad or tease you for weeks." She didn't know how the other pack members would take her being on the team but she didn't want to quit, the more things she did the better chance she had of earning a scholarship. Her academic scores were great but it is the ones who go above and beyond who get noticed.
She could have jumped with excitement as Catcher said yes to her little bribe. She didn't expect just donuts to work but if they didn't pizza would have been her next offer. She wouldn't have upped it more than that. Catcher took her hand and he was sealing the deal for the donuts mentioning a hands on education." She blinked a few times not quite grasping what he was getting at but if she had to show a few things she would. She wasn't really sure what the coach was expecting from the tryouts so she shrugged and he mentioned her insecurities of them making the cut. "Private seasons? What?" Her eyes went a little wide for a second as he pushed past her off the bleachers. Watching Veronica sit back down she sighed. "Well if you just want to sit her, be my guest but Catch might need a partner. I can ask Marissa if she thinks he's hot." Natasha hopped of the bleachers and step the field and stood beside Seth and Catcher. "Seth I think you're right most of these poor boys don't even look like they can tell their right from their left."

There was no way what the girls were talking about escaped his ears. They were not far enough to be out of audible range even if he had moved to check out the tryout up close. Talking about more boys, and hiding Veronica’s unfiltered personality, it was much worse than what they think goes on in his brain all day. He had no words; on one hand it reminded him of Veronica making it clear he was not the only boy at school and therefore a number of them would battle for the vacant spot of being with her. On the other hand, no matter what princess wanted, the pack would have an opinion; he just didn’t know where he stood in that equation, neither lucky nor unluckily positioned. Really, he never wanted to stop hearing her talk about things exactly the way she did; there was no one else like her and he rolled his eyes at Natasha’s warning. She was ruining his favourite version of Veronica with her Sandra Dee persona and he interjected, peeved that everyone cared so damn much about pretending they weren’t teenagers with overflowing hormones because of the pack, who were all hypocrites. It might make her uncomfortable but that was the point; every other sentence to Natasha felt like deliberate corruption to make her face it. ”Trust me, if Jake could be holding up one of his girls by the underwear in the middle of a football game, upskirt and all… I’m pretty sure he’d enjoy it and the guys would approve. If Quil doesn’t like it, I don’t know why he’s trying to date a cheerleader. Everyone who cares about cheerleaders likes the flyers… something about girls on top.”
Knowing that Seth would never drag him into anything but really hoped he would keep him company, was enough to let him do this one thing, this one time. Even then he had to spin this to his advantage, it needed to be worth something just a little more and Veronica was not playing along; what game this all was, he wasn’t sure but she was staying at the bleachers which meant he needed to think about how to get her involved. He reached to take off his cap, ruffling all of his hair because it felt flat and disregarding how messed up he made it and unzipped a slot of his bag and stuffed the hat in. The cheerleaders were bouncing around on the marked stadium logo, above the head of their mascot while everyone trying out stood in the shade, going through a list of names and basic forms. He still hadn’t made up his mind about this, one minute determined to play it out with his best friend, the next judging everybody there so he let Seth’s compromise stand for a while longer; he may be better off just cheering for Seth to make the team. The only pressure was the one he was giving himself by not immediately being a sport and he sighed with a laugh, reflecting how much brighter the world would be with positivity if everyone could be a clone of Seth; being like Seth was better than being like him. ”I know… I’m just… not like you. So go do you.”
His eyes were downcast to the grass as he chewed on his lower lip, molding the gum in his mouth to his teeth in a clenching frown about where this whole thing was going. Feet turned and his legs began carrying him back across the few yards of field to pass by Natasha briefly again; the whole conversation about her poor choices in men fitting the way he squinted under the sunlight while she reflected all the golden rays, hair shining from smoothness. Somehow with Embry and Raven, he was more tolerable than Natasha and Quil or Justin; they were like a bad erotic novel, tantalising to behold but having no substance, or a cringe-worthy film he would never watch unless Veronica tied him to a chair. Seth coining her relationship as a soul mate instance was really his fault; he had even told Veronica within ten minutes of meeting that no matter how attractive he found Natasha, thanks to Seth’s blurt, she and Quil were made for each other like they always belonged. It was sort of true but it wasn’t speaking his mind either, he was saving himself from embarrassment back then and fumbling all at once because he might have ridden into a telephone pole seeing Veronica smile at him from the car if he hadn’t braked.
He stopped a step after the pretty girl, about to say something regarding her movie secret but changed his mind. It wasn’t his place and it wasn’t his problem; even when they were ready to tell everyone about it he didn’t want to know, he didn’t really even know how to behave around Natasha. All he wanted to do was make fun of her for being a model good girl with the smile of a pageant queen but he was also afraid of genuinely hurting her feelings. ”Which one’s Marissa?” The result was just inactivity, doing nothing much of anything, saying things that confused the hell out of her prudence, making him feel awkward. His eyebrows arched in jest, asking a tongue in cheek aiming to corner her into physically saying he was off the hook, truthfully more insecure that his face determined many things for other people. ”And if she doesn’t find me hot then I just quit this?”
He had an open invitation to spend alone time with Veronica but her attention would be mostly on what was happening with the squad; that, as opposed to if she just changed into one of these flirty outfits and let him hoist her up was a lot less fun. It was outrageous he even had any internal struggle over her, she was simply different to all the other girls and when she was around, he didn’t see them as anything more than a blur. In spite of that, he was aware Natasha was still clear as day and it was completely throwing him off. He could tell that shaking Natasha’s hand had led her to suddenly beaming, lighting up like a beacon of hope thinking it was about agreeing to the donut bribe; she looked every bit the naïve cheerleader right then and he just shook his head as his eyes took in the scene of girls climbing into pyramid formations.
When Veronica made the trick of a suggestion about his fingers, he had just gazed at her with a mutual deviousness, undeniably attracted to and impressed by her, smirking ever so softly with nothing more to add to the perfect moment. Other voices about it drowned out and in his heart, no matter what he could have responded with he would never take her for a piece of meat, someone to use and in that it was him accepting that love did go towards love as schoolboys from their books. For he was steered away from everything else by whatever she wanted to do with him.
Arriving back at the base of the bleachers, he tossed his bag with an air to the side of the cement that stacked the seats up higher than ground level. He was beneath the row of railings, facing up at Veronica with glimmering dark eyes that pierced her direction enough she would almost feel it. Having jumped onto the ledge on the outer side, just hanging off the edge, Catcher stood using the metal beam to prop himself, stay loitering for a while as he admired her, bemusedly waiting for her to notice. Out of sight, he ran into her in his head every day and time would seem to fly, hard to find again after it was spent. ”As ready as my fingers are, I would never skip the romance with you.” Thinking it over, he withdrew his satirical side calmly, composed more as whom only she was used to, a hopeless romantic who had never taken the short trip of falling in love before seeing her and he wanted to believe she had smiled because she knew. Wording it delicately as his insolent inner voice butchered it tauntingly; unbeknownst to him, he was looking at her as though she were the little stars in the heavens that made the world fall in love with the night even in the broad, blinding daylight and his smile was immortal youth. ”A kiss first is all I ask.”And then he would be the one to steal into her room in the moonlit dark if she'd let him.

Seth didn't know how the topic landed on fingers but as they were mentioned Natasha's hand came up and covered his ears. Sure he was the youngest out of them all but heard and heard worse. It was probably more because she was more embarrassed about the situation than he was. He knew compared to Veronica, Natasha was the more shy when it came to talking about anything. The girls were opposites Veronica was like the little devil on the left shoulder where Natasha was the angel on the right. They balanced each other out well. He moved her hands down off his ear and rolled his eyes. "I have heard more than you think, I'm not a little boy Tash." He looked over at Veronica and then back at Catcher giving them both a raised eyebrow. If she wanted to sneak over to his house later to see what his fingers could do it was none of his business but he couldn't get the pictures out of his mind. He would have to because he was trying out for the squad and the last thing he needed to distract himself with was thinking about Catch possibly getting lucky after figuring out what his fingers could do.
He was glad when the conversation shifted off of just Veronica and back onto some of the other guys and their stance on cheerleader but instead of fingering to changed to sex and how guys liked girls on top. He hadn't experienced any of these things for himself, he knew one day he would but right now he was just observing Natasha's face who was just as innocent as himself from what he had heard. She would probably be more embarrassed than himself, she was a really beautiful girl. If she didn't think Quil or half the school didn't think about getting a shot with her she would have to be crazy. "If Quil doesn't think of doing stuff with you while running around the woods then there's something wrong with the guy. All of us guys think about stuff that even if they don't admit it."
Feeling a little strange, he stopped talking. He had thought about other people but he found a way to keep them hidden and silent from the others. He was a bit insecure about talking about sexual stuff with everyone right now before he had to head out on the field and watch girls flipping around in their tiny skirts. He didn't want to be pointed out as the boy with the chubby at the tryouts. He was pulled out of his thoughts with Catcher acknowledging him. " Ya, don't worry about it. I won't be completely alone there." He didn't expect Catch to want to do a tryout anyway. In their friendship they had much to bond over, but he was more cheerful and outgoing, ready to try everything once Catch was more reserved in what he partook in. Not worried about his choice to actually sit out, Seth took tash hand and pulled her out to the field." Come on I'll still try out, can't always win them all over. He likes her and might as well let him get a shot in before Embry finds out."
Seth walked across the field and took a clipboard from a stack that sat on a green steel folding table which looked like not been at the school since the seventies. He began filling out the forms, where they asked him about his name, grade and what type of athletic he did at the moment. It didn't take long to complete and when he was finished he took a seat down on the field half paying attention to the team practicing but almost bored that now he had to wait his turn before he was called on to show what he could do. The coach waved Natasha over and Seth quickly shooed her off before turning to a boy sitting beside him and introducing himself." HI,I'm Seth."

Veronica patted Natasha’s head and shook her head. She was not about to do a try out after being said no. Plus, Veronica wanted to see her friend be outside of her comfort zone. These cheerleader girls are assholes, Natasha will get chewed on but it will make her realize that she needs to be tough. ”I know. Next year we will be in same squad. Go enjoy your spotlight.” Veronica gave Natasha assuring smile. It broke her heart a little when she had to say no to her friends and family. She will be there for each practice, watching over Natasha and making sure she won’t get eaten by humans. It was ironic that a wolf would be scared of a human when it should be other way around. She shrugged at her own thoughts and pushed it on the side.
Virgin ears!? Veronica’s eyebrow raised to her hairline at Natasha’s word. It was refreshing to see and hear things from naive people. For a girl who has two guys fighting for her, she’s either acting naive or she’s actually naive. The baby wasn’t naive either. She looked at Seth then Catcher and back to Natasha. It was like all three of them were on something. ”Live on the edge, lil T. You will be surprised how thrilling and fun it is.” Veronica shook Natasha a little by the shoulders. She wants her to live her life without any regrets. Veronica’s hands fell from Natasha’s shoulder and sat back down. Her eyes were on the group ahead of her, looking at their moves, hair twirling and chatting like bunch of valley girls. It was sickening yet hilarious to her. Something about Marissa came up, making her break her thoughts and contact from people to look between two people. ”Who’s this Marissa chick? Seems like she’s looking for her next victim. That’s you C.”
Veronica had gave Catcher a way out of joining Seth and Natasha. She had hoped that he would take up on her offer instead of joining the squad in the name of Marissa. Whoever this Marissa chick was, Veronica was hell bent on having a word with her but first wanted to see her be nervous as she talked to Catcher. Maybe Catcher will let her down gently and Marissa girl will run down the hallway with tears in her eyes. Or she might be a little mean and encourage Marissa to ask Catcher out. Either way, she just wanted to see both of their reactions. Jealousy and envy always took over her when it involved guy she liked. She liked Catcher as she liked her coffee. Okay she loved coffee way more than anything in her life. But Catcher was different from guys at school and the pack. The guys in the pack were like brothers to her; she doesn’t see herself hooking up with them. She saw Seth move away from her with Natasha in tow. Leaving her and Catcher alone.
Since the morning she met Catcher, he hasn’t left her mind. She would purposely go out of her way to see him. Accidental bumps or touches were her favorite. She bit her lower lip, butterflies coming back in her stomach as he stared at her. Uncrossing her legs, she leaned towards Catcher, faces inches away. Minty smell came from his lips while he was missing his usual leather jacket, she was rather loving casual, non-bad boy vibe look. She swore if he keeps showing his million dollar smile, she will be puddle of goo. Her body burns from head to toe. She doesn’t know how he can be straightforward. Most guys at school are vague. They play mind games, or they’re too chicken to make the first move. She couldn’t pull away; it felt like he had some sort of magic on her when he was nearby. She was yearning to cup his jawline in her hands, brush the apple of his cheeks with her thumb feeling little stubble on his face. ”Just a kiss?” Veronica could see the muscle in his jaw twitching. She leaned over, closing in on little space that was left, did same thing she was dying to do. Cupped his jaw, brushing his stubble cheek, and kissed him. His lips were soft—dangerously soft- silken, and warm. Every nerve ending she had came frighteningly alive, crackling with need. He tasted like sweet spice, injecting her veins with pure list and adrenaline.
She slowly pulled away, still not content of tasting him; she wanted more and their bubble burst open when she heard whistle. ”To be continued…” She kissed his cheek and sat correctly on the bleacher. She couldn’t believe she had done that and whoever whistled, really had horrible timing of destroying her moment. Veronica loved the thrill of seeing Catcher behind packs back. She had a feeling that they will never be happy with her and Catcher’s relationship. Those members had their time, made mistakes, learned from them, went out and were hormonal teenagers. She didn’t understood why there had to be rules when it came to girls.
